Hey All!
I hope all is well in the world with everyone. I know times are tough for nurse practitioners during the pandemic considering some have been furloughed or laid-off completely from their jobs.
It’s even harder to be a new nurse practitioner during this time. The pandemic is still roaring, but there is hope for nurse practitioners with new job openings due to COVID-19.
Resumes are key when looking for another (or your first) job. In order to even get a look by a hiring manager, they need to first pass the initial screening by the automated systems. This can be done by using the proper keywords for the job you are applying to and making sure they are listed in your resume.
You’ll also want to have an appealing, but not too outlandish template to stand out from other applicants.
As a nurse for nearly 20 years, I’ve had many iterations of my resume and found that some templates worked better than others to land interviews. I don’t write resumes, but I am willing to share my templates with you to help you out. The templates will save you some money and time when trying to revamp your resume.
Since ReNursing Edu is dedicated to helping nurse practitioners of all levels succeed, I’ve created a package containing a new grad resume template, cover letter template and digital copies of both my NP Clinical Cheatsheets (original and Urgent/Emergent) to help new nurse practitioners land that first job and have a reference guide during clinical practice.
The resume and cover letter templates have prompts on what should go where to help you out even more. The NP Clinical Cheatsheets include the Urgent & Emergent version that contains information on shock, burns, and suture information among other things. Actually, this is the first debut of the Urgent & Emergent Cheatsheet and it’s not even available as a physical copy!
Normally, all of these templates would retail for close to $50, but they are available as the New NP Clinial Bundle for $27. As soon as you purchase, you’ll be provided with a link to download so you can use them right away.
If you only want the NP Clinical Cheatsheet Urgent & Emergent digital copy, you can grab it here.
