Have you been thinking about starting a business but don’t know how to get started? Do you have an awesome idea, but you are stuck in the idea phase? Or maybe you just don’t think you can do it because you are a nurse. Pfffft! Let all those negative thoughts go and just go for it!
Waffling back and forth and not making a solid decision is also known as “analysis-paralysis syndrome.” I had analysis-paralysis syndrome a few years ago when I debated about starting a business. On occasion it pops back up, but I just have to tell it to back down and go about my business (literally and figuratively)! For those still hung up on the decision, let me help you. In addition to writing books for your educational purposes, I’m working on an online course to help you get started with your own business, nursing or not!
The course, “Nurse to Entrepreneur: Moving from the Bedside to Business” will be coming to a computer near you soon…as in this summer soon! The outline has been made and I’m also working on an accompanying workbook so you can have something to refer to in the future. I have so many people asking me about starting a business that I don’t have time to tell them all the ins- and outs I’ve learned over the years. I’m excited about being able to offer a course for fellow nurses who want to move from the bedside to their own business.
The course will cover basics such as:
- Finding your profitable business idea and niche
- Determining how to structure your business
- Figuring out what services or products to offer
- How to price your services and products
- Basic bookkeeping
- Hiring employees for your business
- Working with freelancers and virtual assistants
- and much, much more!!!!
You guys just don’t know how excited I am about this project. The course will be available for total access once purchased so you can refer to it anytime you need a refresher. In addition, the course will be updated with new topics based upon what you need! Be on the lookout for updates on the course launch coming soon to a computer near you!
